Saturday Strippers
Saturday Strippers the Second Saturday of every month.
 February we made this great stripy bag!
Have you ever heard of chevron stripes?
This Chevron striped bag is called "Take it anywhere Tote" I love the word
Chevron (and the stripes look good too!!) and we will be using this method of
making your own fabric more often.
The photo at the top shows the strips -
the beginning stages of this really cool bag. The Bottom photo shows the bag
finished. We
have patterns available - we have made ours in hot, hot colours (like the
weather) and you can have kits just like ours or colours of your own
choice.
There is no charge for Saturday Strippers - just come - we would love
to see you.Time for the Saturday Strippers is 8.30am to 9.30am.
There is no charge and you will not need your machines. During this
hour we will talk you through making the quilts and demonstrate the
various techniques used. We will also have a show and tell of other
strip quilts. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
Kits
for the featured quilts will be available at Saturday Strippers. The
quilt will be hung in the shop during the month leading up to the 2nd
Saturday for you to look at There are a limited number of kits the same
as ours or you can choose your own colour combination from other Jelly
Rolls we have available.
Now for the really good news, at Saturday Strippers between 8.30am and 10.30am only
there will be a 10% discount on the kits for the featured quilts. It
would probably pay to pre-order your kit during the month.

Southern Comfort is a quilt design especially for 2 1/2" strips and "Summer Sherbert" is a quilt we designed ourselves using a specific range of summery pastels.
This one is reversible and made using the quilt as you go method!!

We will show a fantastic new way to make Half Square Triangles
