"Hollyhock Cottage" from Lynette Anderson
This is a lovely range of fabrics from Lynette Anderson, made in Japan by Lecien. The fabrics are tone on tone prints in subtle colours of creams, taupes, blue/grays, blues and browns, that have an earthy look to them.
There is a free pattern from Lecien, Striped Flowers, featuring the Lynette Anderson fabrics. It uses 28 fat quarters, 1.25 m of cream and 1.5 m of and accent which includes the binding.
For those who would love to make a quilt without piecing, here is a good option. "Urbanicity" is a lovely colourway in cream and shades of greys, taupes, and browns. The printed squares of geometric designs are about 9" square. There are five squares across the bolt and three rows per repeat. We have made a quilt top using 5 x 5 squares. You could also use this to create a stunning wall hanging, table runner or even placemats. The border print features "bubbles" that grade from very dense to sparse, across the width of fabric. You can see this on the border of our quilt.
"Roof Top Santas" from Debbie Mumm
This is Santa out on his rounds. One repeat (0.6 m) has Santa at six sites. There is a great diagonal stripe to go with this - sashings or borders will turn it into a fun Christmas wall hanging.
A great range of navy blues to add to any quilt for a man. If you're a girl who loves blue then there is a lovely navy floral toile in this range too. The stripe has not photographed well - it is really a very nice regular stripe of navy, red, and fawn.
This is a lovely crisp looking range from Bonnie & Camille for Moda. We have two floral feature fabrics with coordinates in spots, scrolls and small prints. There are also 5" charm packs for $23.00 and a fat 1/8th bundle of the complete range, $153.00. The range would make up really well in our new Beryl and Ruby patterns.
Adrienne Walker has made this new design table runner using the lovely creams and taupes from the Stof Christmas fabrics (see below). These fabrics also feature in our colour of the month packs for August - six fat 1/8ths and some of the gorgeous panel fabric for $33.60.

This is a bright, fun range with plenty of scope for using in boys' quilts. There is a feature print of orange, yellow, green and pale blue geckos on a dark blue background, a spot of the "gecko" colours on dark blue and three spots of brights - pale blue, yellow and green.
"Fun in the Sun"
These are two great summery prints - jandals and sunglasses on pale blue and a medley of bright sun umbrellas. We have lots of brights in the shop that these could be teamed up with. They would make nice big bags for swim togs or picnic things.
"Two to Tango"
Another lovely red and black fabric - red and gray daisies on a black background. Team them up with any, or all, of the coordinates - red/cream stripe, black/cream stripe, red tone on tone spots and black tone on tone spots.
"Sentiments" by 3 Sisters for Moda
The feature in this range is a lovely print of boughs of flowers and sparrows on a cream background. The paisley print and small floral print team with this and for real sentiments the postcard print is great.
"Hot off the Press"
This is a another great fabric to use in making the snazzy wallet featured below. It is a heavier weight and would also be suitable for bags - $36/m.

This is a gorgeous range of Sepia-look fabrics with old world charm. There is a panel, a fabric of small blocks which are approximately 7" square with 0.6 m repeat, a fabric of "snapshots" approx 5" square (0.3 m repeat) and a fabric of smaller "snapshots" approx 4" square (0.2 m repeat). All fabrics are $32/m. There is a brown spot coordinate to go with these.
Teacups are featured in a lovely range of coloured cups on a black with a very fine grey spot, two coordinates and a black on cream print of tea labels.
Christmas is Here!!!
Our Christmas fabrics are arriving now. We have some gorgeous prints in gold and silver - stripes, stars, hearts and swirl designs from Stof. The popular silver on white and black backgrounds is back with stars, spots and swirls. We have a lovely range of taupe and cream with gold hearts, stripes, swirls, medallions and spots, and also a border print with rows of hearts, stars, a garland and a village. Not to mention the traditional reds and greens with gold stars, scrolls and stripes.

The Christmas Train is great for little boys and the cute little Angel surrounded by presents is just perfect for little girls. These come complete with instructions and measure approx 20" x 30", $19.00.
We also have an Advent Calendar from Stof. This is a 20" square with a Christmas village at the top and garlands down each side, in rich greens and reds on cream, $19.00.
The name says it all!!! There's Santa hitching a ride on an aeroplane wing, a very sooty Santa, a very hot Santa in the tropics..... This is 0.6 m repeat, $32/m.
Here's a treat for the Kaffe Fassett lovers - fat quarter bundles and "logs". These come in colourways of "Fire", "Earth" and "Water" - really rich gorgeous colours and prints. The bundles have 30 fat quarters ($240), the logs have twenty 6" strips (3m of fabric $104) and the design rolls have thirty 2 1/2" strips ($87). We also have fat quarters ($8) to tempt you!!
These lovely linens are 60" wide and at $40/m are excellent value. There is an all over writing print and a spot in both colourways - taupe and cream. Look at this "Snazzy Wallet" we have made up using the linens and a small size grommet - a fantastic gift! The wallet has sleeves for 16 credit cards and a good sized zip pocket. Just in time for winter these cosy warm flannels have arrived. There are prints for girls and boys and lots of lovely coordinates to choose from in pastels and brighter colours. Great value at $25/m. The black with dog bones is not a flannel but still goes great with the other dog prints. We have made up kits for our fluffy 5" square quilt in the pastels - blue/teal/lavender for a little boy and pink/lavender/yellow for a little girl. The kits contain the fabrics for the front of the quilt and borders - $70, patterns are $20.00.

This book by Leni Levenson Wiener, features some very quick bit affective quilts. There is a section on colour and choosing fabrics which is a great help. $49.00
This is a great book by Cherri House with some simple but very striking designs. There are twelve projects and Cherri has been inspired for these by urban views. Many of the designs would be very suitable for masculine quilts - often hard to get!! We have made up the quilt City Harbour in vibrant blue fabrics. Great value at $39.00.
Amy Walsh and Janine Burke have written this book for "fabric lovers". There are 10 easy-to-make projects with a modern edge and this book also has a great section on colour and fabrics - just look at the cover!! $36.00
